Default o2 Sensor

Would a blown head gasket ruin a o2 sensor from the white smoke caused by coolant burning, the o2 sensor is about 1yr old

Actually, yes it can. Depending on the type of coolant, it can foul an O2 sensor. That RTV silicone sealant stuff has been known to foul sensors also, but that's with gross misapplication though.
