Typically no. If moisture condenses on/within it... like rain, and then freezes, the ceramic thimble can shatter.

I have been reading your old posts about O2 sensors and wondered what happened to the unit you and your partner were working on?

I have just assembled a rev 5 DIY_WB board before I had a sensor but just found one tonight. You presented a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed reading it all.

Since finding the threads about AFR I have learned alot that I wish I knew back when I was Dragracing seriously, course this stuff was just a dream then.
I am doing this to help tune my Son's 68 Camaro,we've had it since '85.

I have also read a ton about reading plugs and found out everything I didn't know back when no one would tell you how to do it in the old days. An AFR would sure go a long way to fill in the gaps.

Do you know what signal a person would be able to use for data logging RPM? I think between RPM and AFR you could really dial in a carb now that I have learned there are about 6 or 7 different things to tune on a Holley carb.

Boy were we dumb in the old days.

Thanks for any help, it's all very interesting,
Terry
