Ok, so after this headswap my damn A/C belt (replaced all the belts when I did this of course) has been squealing like there's no tomorrow. I've tightened, loosened, argh. Never had a car with AC before, so help me out guys. How do I get it right?

Then, of course, my Field SFC died tonight .. or at least the display did. I was already thinking about replacing it with an Apexi since the thing would "forget" what I had VTEC set at....just whenever it felt like it.

And, of course, my car is idling real funny, and the throttle is sticking. I ordered an EX throttle cable and damn it should have been here by now. Hopefully that fixes the sticking throttle, as for the funny idle ... the IACV is disconnected still. I'm going to have to go WAY out of my way to get my DX IACV working on this EX head/intake. Hmmm...

 

A sticking throttle is often caused by a dirty intake manifold. Try picking up some intake manifold cleaner and giving that a go.

I've never had an A/C car, so I can't help you there... does the unit spin without squealing? Are you sure it's the belt? If it's just not working, try replacing the belt... sorry I can't think of anything else.

Your Fields SFC sounds like it has a short somewhere. Did you solder the connections?

 

Manifold was just ported and tanked, very clean.

The SFC still works, just not the display. VTEC still activates!
