Default Not sure what is causing this CEL

I still occasionally get a CEL code for the o2, so CEL 1. it is sometimes accomponied(spelling?) by my cd changer no longer working, which is remedied by resetting the ecu. i dont get any studdering or anything(except maybe a little rougher at idle, but could be my imagination), just the o2 CEL and the occasional having to listen to the radio. what could it be? a common ground between the two not making its contact, or something else, i dunno. help me out please. thanks.

I am surprised you get a code 1. Are you certain its not a code 10? I can never say I had a code 1 for a 92+ Civic. It's usually just a code 41 on 92+ Civics if there is something wrong with the O2 sensor. You have a VX so you how did you wire up the 4 wire O2? Did you get an Si wire harness?

i am using a 4 wire and it plugs up to the engine harness. there shouldnt be anything i need to wire(right?) for it to function properly.

now after resetting the ecu after spraying carb cleaner in the intake mani and trying to make my cd changer work again, the changer isnt even coming on. i dunno what the problem is. crap.

did you use your stock VX harness and was your motor one of the few that came with a 5 wire O2? This could be your problem
