Default not running pcv....good or bad???

Like the topic says.......I ask this because i spoke with someone who sounded very smart with honda motors and he said that running without a pcv would be fine..."It's not gonna hurt the motor plus it will put a end to blow by....." Is this true?

You can't run it in stock form if your boosted. Not using it in na will keep im cleaner and a cleaner intake charge. You need to deal with the crankcase venting somehow thou.

Yes,and you need to remove the valve. It opens under vacuum (which doesn't happen in a catch can).Do a search, there is a lot of info in the archives.

easily explained, unhook it, chuck the pcv valve, plug the intake manifold, and put a breather on the valve cover.

you wanna get complicated, draw vacuum from the exhaust or do a setup that uses a catch can and draws vacuum and vents to the pre-turbo intake at opposite 90 degree angles.

you cant use the stock pcv setup because it doesn't vent pressure from the crankcase when the intake manifold sees boost. the pcv valve acts like a check valve, it wont vent when boost is on the other side.

so just unhook it
