I never noticed it happening in the past. Kinda looks and feels like some oil buildup. Is it normal...or is there something that I should check?

You probably want to check and replace(if necessary) your valve cover seals. They might just have been blown out of place. Then when you put your valve cover back on torque the bolts out, that gives it a more even seal.

Be sure that when you replace the seals that they are clean and dry. The dry, clean rubber will provide a perfect seal against the metal, provided, of course, that the metal is clean and dry too.

 

so you guys think i should check and replace the seals that go under the bolts right? not the one big gasket that goes around the whole valve cover...because i dont think thats leaking at all.

you can get them from http://www.manhonda.com they are called vlave cover grommets. If you have not replaced the valve cover seal in a while it might need replacing, and your valves might need an adjustment too.
