Is this normal for a 6 puck clutch?
I got what i was told to be an action 6 puck sprung clutch. i got a semi built d16 which im guesisng puts down around 250whp at the moment. Im using the stock flywheel its just been resurfaced. When i shift in the higher rpms from 1>2 and 2>3 it chatters/vibrates pretty bad, feels like something gonna explode. Maybe im just exxagerating? this is my first 6 puck clutch, is this normal?
had an ACT 6 puck solid hub, HD pp, 12lb flywheel on my last d16a with a JRSC and it did not chatter in other gears at higher rpms. Only starting in 1st gear with revs low. You better check that **** out before something goes boom.
Yes..
Chattering is normal..
I hated mine..
I was always slipping it to make it not chatter..
it soon burned up... and I put a stock clutch back in and fell in love with the stock clutch
there is no need for a 6 puck clutch on a street car
