is this normal?
i recently took out the t/b from the intake manifold for cleaning. i then touch the inside of the intake manifold through the hole where the t/b was attached. i was suprised when the walls are coated with oily stuff, i don't know the proper way to call it. it was so black, moist and thick like an oil paste. it's like a hunt's tomato paste but thicker and it's black. is that normal? the walls are coated with it but if you try to reach down the first runner it doesn't have it and if you reach far enough close to the other end, it's not as thick. the walls closest to the t/b have thickest **** on it. is that normal? have you guys tried touching the walls of your intake manifold? if that's not normal, what could be the cause? and how can it be fix?
that black stuff is THE stickyest black stuff that i can find on a car - ANYWHERE!
it even beats moly grease!
it is normal, i guess - i think it is from the PVC but this is only a guess...
