Default Noobish question.

One of my lug studs was broken off, in an attempt to fix it i accidentally managed to knock the remaining half into my rotor. Of course I couldn't get the axle nut off (yes i unstaked it) so my question is this, can i drive my car to a monroe about 5 miles away to get it fixed without damaging my rotor cuz of the lug stud inside of it?

Yes I know I'm retarded.

Oh, car is a 94 Accord.

so there are only 3 lug holding the wheel on then? The broken stud is loose and inside the rotor right?

I've had to roll around on 3 lug's before when I was going to get the rotor replaced and I didnt have any problem. Don't race or try to break the tires lose and you should be fine

Yes the broken stud is loose and inside the rotor. I'm not worried about the 3 lugs . . . . for now. Only problem is I'm supposed to drive 500 miles tomorrow so leaving the loose stud insinde my rotor and rolling that far on 3 lugs is not something I want to do.

when you say the stud is in your rotor what do you mean? Like can it get stuck somewhere against the caliper?

If not, then it is ok to drive for 500 miles with only 3 lugs on. I have friends who have been doing this (and racing thier car sometimes) with only 3 lugs.

Just be easy with it, no street racing. Take it to get it fixed it will be fine.

No the lug is INSIDE the rotor. The hub covers over the inside of the rotor and we can't get the axle nut off. Doesn't matter, we got it towed by AAA for free and a shop is doing the work now

You wanna come try to get the axle nut off? If not, please troll elsewhere.
