hey guys, i know this isnt a honda question but there are a ton of smart *** people on here. I am not sure if i am posting this in the right place either, dont even know if there is a place. on with the problem...

My gf has a '00 Mitsu Eclipse GT. the headlights dont work. I have replaced the bulbs and they worked for a little bit then went out.(h4, i did NOT touch the glass at all)now i just put brand new ones and the lows didnt work off the bat, high beams work fine. all the fuses are good.

any ideas?????

 

check voltage at the plug, maybe a bad switch or the the circuit is open

 

how do i check if the circuit is open...i dont know crap about electrical. wouldnt the voltage still be good at the plug since the high beams still work?

 

It could be a bad ground also. Was it involved in an accident at anytime?
