There's a loud rattle coming from my rear suspension when I drive over a shitty (semi rough) road. I've talked to others, and they claim that I need to slip some rubber (or silicone?) sleeves over the coils on my springs. I have neuspeed race springs + tockiko blues on 96' 2 dr teg. Tell me what you think.

 

mine does the same thing....and sometimes a loud *** pop will come from the back right....

 

yeah my world sport coilovers pop louder than **** when i go over speed bumps and crappy roads. what is the deal?

I get a weird type of tick\ticking sound occasionally if my rear suspension is under weird angles i guess. No clue what it is..

 

The rubber sleeves are usually around your stock springs... you transfer them to your lowered springs.. keeps the creeking noises out...

I had been having this same problem with my setup. (tokico blues with H&R coils) I got underneath the car one day and tightened everything down as much as possible and it cleared a majority of it up. Try that and see what you think.

my tein has noises too. but no "pop" sound. only "z..zzz.zzz." sound(from the back only). i m guessing it's becuz the back is much lighter than the front, so that when the car jumps it kinda gets loose, so it makes noise.....eh, not quite, something like that then.

 

I have Zeals and get a kind of gurgle clunking noise. Kind of liek static. I think its also becauyse the rear end is light so its gets loose. Only happens on rough roads.

 

alright this seems to be happening to many people then, so i guess i wont be too concerned about it, it just gets kind of irritating is all, but the improved handling is worth it
