I just got done with a auto to manual conversion on a 92 eg... car started when it was automatic, i put the 5 speed motor in it (98 DX Single) and after i got done with everything the motor does not turn over because it does not spin the starter... so no signal to the starter pretty much... io checked the fuse under the steering wheel, and it is good... any ideas? would it be anything to do with the auto to manual ordeal?? please help me out.. thanx

 

How did you handle converting the starter interlocks? In the automatic there's an interlock with the shift lever. In the manual it interlocks with the clutch pedal.

 

when you turn the car into accessory, do you hear a clicking sound comming from under your steering wheel? if not, maybe the relay is bad?? when you turn the car to accessories, u can hear the fuel system prime, then shortly after that there should be a clicking sound, stick ur down under the wheel and turn the key. just listen carefully.

 

There's a plug that was plugged into your automatic shifter its a plug with two wires in it, it should be two black/white wires I think, there a thick gauge wire just jump out that plug and it will start.
