today i reinstalled my stereo to make it more secure and also to find out why 1 speaker wasn't working so all good all working while its all out on the seat.

i put it all back in and and turn the car on, no stereo no clock, i checked all fuses nothing has blown, so i though i would go and get some spares just in case start the car and its idling really low and stalled twice, i adjusted the idle up (the car is twin carb) but now its running a little rough with a miss every so often any way off i go and as i pull down the street the speedo is not working wtf so any way i continue on and the odometer has stopped working too.

nothing was cut that i could see and all the wires for the head unit are connected via molex connectors, the only wires that were disconnected in the reinstall were the antenna cable and the stereo loom. unless one of the wires in one of the other connectors has been moved but the stereo has been in and out a few times with no issues.

i'm still at a loss to see how disconnecting the stereo could could disconnect the the speedo. the only things that don't work in the cabin are the stereo, the clock and the lights for the cig lighter. the cig lighter, tacho and everththg else still works.

any one have any ideas as to what it could be?
