Default electric prob?

so i was gonna add a headunit to my 1996 accord lx. it had no stock harness. there was only the wires to connect so i was going to connect the wires to the headunit wires but i couldnt see the colors at night so i ended up not connecting anything after i had taken all the electrical tape off. then i started my car n noticed my clock n gauges werent turned on. what happened?

Default Re: electric prob? (r1ch)

you blew a fuse with the wires being cut. First tape off all the exposed wires so it does not happen again and check the fuses under the hood and under the dash.
