for some reason my jdm b16 is not producing any spark?? what could be the cause of this??? it s 90 civic si w/ a jdm b16, thanks

 

check your distributor. if that is good make sure you are getting a spark from the coil. put the coil wire really close to metal, turn the lights down, and try to start the car.

 

did you just drop in a motor? or did it just stop on you? give us somemore details, thanks

 

just dropped the motor and it was driving fine for about 30-45 minutes..then the tach started getting all wild so i shut the car off and ever since then it wont start back up.....any help is appreciated, thanks

 

new cap and rotor. ground the spark pug wires and check it out.

 

sounds like a distributor problem.....

1. check all your sprak plug wires and make sure they are properly inserted and snug
2. if you have an extra distributor, try that
3. cap and rotor

if your car turns and doesnt fire up:
check your ignitor
