I have a 93 ACCORD and when i was cranking it i had someone take the wire off the coil and touch it to metal and there is no spark there, does that mean the coil is bad or someone also told me that it might be the ignitor in the distributor, But i thought it had to get spark from the coil first before it when through the dist. Let me know what you think. Thanks

 

igniter --> coil --> dist -->plugs.

the igniter is a transistor, it's just a fancy switch.
you probably have a bad igniter.
