no heat?

Default no heat?

my heater blows, but does not get hot. is this going to be a thermastat problem. any info would be helpful.

Thermostat possibly. My gf's dad had to have the radiator flushed to fix their heater. Or perhaps it is just your heater core. Could open up the thermostat housing and see if it still works. I would try and troubleshoot before opening anything up though. Got a shop manual?

i do have a manual. i wondered if it was the heater core. cause the temp gauge does get up to normal operating temps.

So the engine does go into closed loop? Could very well be the heater core then. Should tell you have to check that in the manual. Might even have a troubleshooting section with this problem in it. The only down side is heater cores are expensive.
