Default Nitrous WOT or Button

I have a eg hatch with gsr bottom end b16 head port and pollish type r cams valves, springs and retainers gsr tranny with limited slip and stage 2 clutch I am putting on a wet kit. What are the advatages to using a wide open throttle switch as opposed to using the button on my steering wheel to activate my nitrous system

thanks for any and all opinions and help

WOT switches are for the lazy.

Get a button switch so you can accelerate at WOT without beating on your engine.

Now correct me if I am wrong but don't u wire in a switch to activate the WOT switch, so u can still drive WOT without wasting n2o and so you don't accidentally hit the n2o. Thats just how I have always seen it done and that is how I am going to do it.

imo for a daily driver you should run both... and you for sure don't want to be spraying n2o when you hit rev limiter on a honda...

you need a WOT activator and a swith so that you can disable when needed.

It's best to wire it like normal- WOT w/an arming switch. Doing this prevents you from spraying at part throttle which can be very bad...very. Then wire a button also, so you have to be at WOT and have the button pressed.

This may slightly be off the subject you can also go thru the clutch safety switch. Disconnect the original wires and tie them together ( SO THE CAR WILL CRANK). Then run the activation switch thru the clutch switch. So when cluctch is depressed no nitrous in motor. When clutch is released.. BAM Nitrous comes on.

This is how i wire up nitrous systems. an arming switch to activate the system. than I wire up a WOT and a button on the steering wheel in series. That way you do not have to worry about accidentally hitting the button when you are not at full throttle. Also you do not have to remember to take your finger of the button between shifts because the WOT switch will shut of the nitrous and than turn it back on when you return to full throttle.
