i am new to all this but have a few friends helping me out.

this seems like a great board, so hopefully i'll find some good help. i have a 2001 civic 4dr..

my clutch makes a pretty bad "creak" noise..not sure what could be causing it? any suggestions on what to look at? I have the service manual for my civic, but wanted to get an idea of what to look for before i go plunging in.

only mod i've done so far is install a short ram air intake, which makes the ol' civic sound much nicer and gives it a small but noticable increase in power.

any suggestions for some more relatively inexpensive and easy things i can start doing to the engine for a new guy?
