Default new engine break in

Ok i just had my bottom end built. I used cheap *** regular oil and took and easy on it for 500 miles, no vtec boost turned all the way down. I then changed the oil and put and used the same cheap *** oil for another 600 miles and then got it tuned at the dyno. After the dyno I have been getting on it some.

Now that I have over 1200 miles on it is it ready for sythenic oil yet?

I was running mobil 1 10 30 but was thinking about there 15 50 they make. Would this work or stick to the 10 30?

Also does anyone run Amsoil. I saw that they make a turbo formula but never heard any reviews on it.

id run regular oil for another 2000 miles, and just dont floor it everywhere, just take it easy... not as easy as the first 1000 miles but u get the idea. After that, id put the 15-50 if u live in a warm area, then drive the bitch like u stole it
