Default New ECU

I took out my ECU today and there is a burning smell so I'm buying a new one. Would anbody be able to direct me in a good place to find a JUN ecu? I hear there really good.

Open the ecu up and take pictures of the damaged components. Post them up so we can see....

nothing really LOOKS damaged but my ECU says otherwise. Like the check engine light stays on and whenever i try to get the codes it dosen't even blink even once. attach that to the fact my car hassnt started for 5 months and ive replaced everything else im pretty sure this is it. A buddy of mine says even though electrical components might not look damaged that dossent mean they arent. i mean and that burning smell wreaks.

More then likely a cap or two is burnt. Usually when this happens traces are burnt up on the ecu.

Your best bet is to buy a new ecu.

OK, i thought it was. So whats a really good ECU to buy, im in between a hondata and this JUN ECU, both found on ebay. Hondata is about 500 and the JUN is about 250. Any thoughts on a new ECU?

A JUN ecu is complete bullshit.
Hondata is a tunable engine management solution which is much better.
