i know what hes talking about, its a muscle car thing, you can buy at napa.
Ive seen it done on some cars from so. cali from teh shop ONE
he takes a hose from his valve cover and runs it to his exhaust, had to have special parts to make it work he selling the kit, it only cost about 9.99 at napa.
and its not that big of a horse power gain, its basiclly to keep the heat out of your engine by creating a vacuum suckingout the hot air as it flows out your tail pipe.
nuff siad.

EGR blockoff plates and IAT relocation kits seem to be pretty common on eBay anymore. And since it's eBay, the hp increase gains are quite inflated.
I have even seen them selling EGR block off plates for 3rd gen Integras. I could gain 10-15hp! That's funny, my car doesn't even have EGR.
Most of these aren't really "scams", just false and deceptive advertising. There are some real eBay scams out there that are quite dangerous and elaborately concealed. I found one where the seller had a ton of positive feedback, so he looked legit. Well, that feedback was generated by several other eBay ID's he had (which bid on and won his fake auctions), and they all had feedback made by more eBay IDs, which also had feedback, and so on. The only thing that gave it away was the same user ID's showing up multiple times, and the timestamp of the feedback (there was a bunch of feedback items left within one second of the previous item). The guy had to have had some sort of script or program which registered all kinds of bogus ID's, created fake auctions, which the bogus ID's bid on and won, and then left all kinds of positive feedback. I was kind of impressed, but the guy is still a worthless criminal.
I notified eBay, but never heard back from them other than the automated reply.
