Neutral Safety Switch
Evidently '88 CRX Si's didn't come with a neutral safety switch, as verified by Honda... I'd like to install one. Can someone give me info on where/how to install it? Can I steal one from a junkyard Honda? Are they transmission-specific? Honda wants $150 for a new one

I'm not sure if your pedal set has the extra bracket for a safety switch- if it does- then super- if not- you will most likely have to swap out your pedal set- If you get one from a junkyard- be sure to look at your clutch and throttle cable ends- there are different kinds. I disabled my NSS- I hate them.
is this for a manual or automatic tranny? i say the NSS is a waste of money, but makes you feel safer by knowing you wont start your engine in gear and take off.
I don't know what the neutral safety switch is, or where it goes, so I can't really check if my pedal has the provisions for one or not...
. I assume it's just an on/off type thing that's connected to the pedal w/ a spring?
Anyway, the reason I want one is that it's part of the inspection process to make it through Tech when I go drag racing. I don't actually WANT one, but I don't want to get turned away at tech, either.
Whoops, sorry, it's a MT. A/T = bleeeehhhhh...
