Default NepTune/Hondata Compatibility

I just sold my AEM EMS to get either a Hondata s300 or Neptune. My question is I allready have an OBD1 ECU with the cable that connects into the Hondata allready installed in it, but a chip for the wrong car. Can I send this ECU out to say phearable or another chipping company to make it Neptune compatible or is it stuck running Hondata. I am leaning towards NepTune primarily because evan-tuning is an hour north of me and that is what he prefers to tune. Any feedback is welcome, thanks in advance.

If the ecu was previously used for Hondata S100/S200, it is already Neptune compatible.. I'd let Jeff Evans handle it..
