Ok. I tried redoing my timing because it jumped a tooth. Now i got the cams looking like their in TDC.And the Crank is TDC. Now i shine the digital timing light,with the degrees set at zero, on the flywheel to set timing, got it at 15(dot in the the middle).Now when i shine the timing gun at the cams, the exhaust cam looks off by a couple of tooth,but if i raise the timing on the gun(digital timing gun with advance) from 0 going up, at about 9.5 the cams line up straight horizontally.And also i hit the gas and around 5000rpms i get what it sounds like pinging(sounds like marbles rattling but its very loud,happens around wen vtec suppose to open)but if i gradually give it gas, it goes thru the revs without the marbles rattling noise....any help would be appreciated..
