Why not call up gear speed and get a set of carbon coated syncros from them..

You can either get 1-5 or 3-4-5. The carbon coated synchros aren't necessarily stronger than stock, they improve the smoothness of shifting.

For my JDM YS1 tranny the 3-4-5 syncros were $100 shipped.. I think he said for the 1-2 syncros it would have been an extra $100 so that price sounds about right..

Correct.. They help with grinding at higher rpm shifts..

i usually get B-series synchros (OEM brass ones) for ~$50/set from my favorite supplier. put that against factory where you have to buy the whole shift collar set i believe. check my sig also.

he said he has an S21. that's $347. and the ten cents thing is just from my supplier. i think it's supposed to be $347.10 also, but until i have to order another one i won't know b/c i don't feel like calling just to find out. and BTW, thanks. i'm trying to drum up a little more business. those prices are picked up, also. if i have to ship it back to the owner then add in the exact amount for shipping, and it will be returned in the same packaging it came, insured, of course. i don't make money on shipping.
