Need some help with a NON HONDA CAR
my boy has a 00 Grand AM, when he turns the AC on it will not work on 1 or 2, but if he puts on 3 or 4 it blows fine.. if he starts driving the car.. the AC will work on 1 or 2 , but when he gets to a stop sign it stops working...any suggestion on what it can be

check the tension in the a/c compressor's belt.
it might be how that car acts to.
on my gsr, whenever i would go to 5k it would shut off a/c
because it would be going into vtec.
does the rpms drop when the a/c comes on or off?
