Default Need some help diagnosing weird problem with my hybrid!

Hey guys, I'm gonna need some help here because I'm not sure what is wrong with my hybrid EK. It started yesterday, I noticed that when I started it up a few times during the day, instead of my exhaust letting out a clean "vroom" right away, it let out this really slow, delayed fartlike(only way to describe it)sputter. I didn't think anything of it. Anyways, later at night when I was driving home from school, everything was fine, just VTEC'ed it for fun. I was at a stop sign and when I put in first to go, my car suddenly sounded like a freakin' Harley! My car was rumbling and "bah bah bah bah bah" the whole time. I pulled over to take a quick look, it was dark so I couldn't really see but even at idle, my car sounded like a Harley all sputtering REALLY erratically and loud. The vibration was so bad that I could feel it through my shift **** and my motor was shaking pretty bad too. The thing is, other than the shaking, my motor sounded and looked fine(other than the shaking), but I could see my muffler shaking a lot and all the noise was coming from there. Another thing is, while I drove it home slowly, I just tried to rev it up a little to get some speed and my rpm did a weird 3k-4500k jump, it just stopped at 3k when I pushed the gas, then suddenly just jumped right up to 4500rpm...

Any ideas on what could have happened to make my exhaust suddenly go ballistic on me? I think my neighbors might have thought I came home with a muscle car or something because that's the way it sounded like last night. Now here's the final thing that puzzled me. I started it this morning and it did the same thing for like 2 minutes while I warmed it up around the block to see if anything would happen and when I stopped it, my exhaust suddenly went back to normal, more or less, but I noticed it's not as loud anymore and my car feels weaker. Could it be an exhaust leak or maybe my GReddy muffler has finally bit the dust? Any help is appreciated because I'm not even sure if I should drive my car around until I get this problem pinpointed. Sorry for the long msg...thanks for any help!
