Default Need Some Help and Advice w/ Gauge Sensor Placement

Hey guys, the car is a 99 Civic Si and the gauges are Greddy Air/Fuel and EGT.
Where is the best place for the Air/Fuel O2 sensor?? I am running a rechipped P28 OBD1, so I have a space available in my cat. converter that isn't being used. Will this work accurately?? Or should it be closer to the header??

Also, is an EGT gauge worth it on a NA car?? I see that the turbo guys swear by this, does it hold any value for us all-motor guys?? If so, where should the sensor be placed??

Thanks

you tap the sending wire for the AF guage into your existing O2 sensor signal wire, (white) egt still does mean something for NA, and still place it in the 3rd runner of the header...

The Greddy comes with an O2 sensor; which would be more accurate?? Teeing into the factory sensor or using the Greddy one??

Re: the EGT sensor. So I would drill and tap into the #3 runner on my JDM 4-1 ITR header?? How far away from the head?? And what kind of temps should it read??

if its a 4wire sensor, bosch stock style, narrowband, itll be the exact same reading...

6-8 inches from head
