If i was to get my engine rebuilt soon, how much cheaper would it be to rip out the motor and take it apart myself, take to machine shop etc. and have a shop put everything together then i put it back in the car?

 

Depends on the shop, but that is usually what the case is. You take it apart yourself and send whatever you need worked on.
