Need some Advice :(
well I dunno if I should consider myself lucky to be alive, or unlucky that it happend to me in the first place...
well I bought the car may 3rd... drove it for a week, before deciding everything I needed fixed...
so i took it to the shop
I had a new battery, new clutch kit, new timing belt, engine flushed, new misc hoses, then I had the Tranny dropped and completely rebuilt, new brakes, new shocks and some other odd stuff...car has also had intake, exhaust and headers, lowered and the rims and tires had like 2 km's on them
May 21st, I pick my car up at 6pm after i missed it for over a 1.5 weeks...
the time is about 1am...
I"m crusing down the highway enjoying rowing through my new gearbox and smooth shifts... chatting with my friend...
next thing i know the idiot in the left lane realizes he missed his exit, so he slams his brakes and cuts a hard right swiching 2 lanes so he doesn't miss his turn,
well it was just my luck that i was in his blind spot when he did this, (not like ppl check mirrors around here).
So i slam my brakes and my nose of the car dives so hard i felt it scrap the ground... and i turn with him, next thing i know I'm sliding side ways through the turn, being a FWD car and brand new tires it didn't drift for long, and the front wheels caught the tarmac again this time i'm facing the curb/sidewalk thing....
and the car jumps the curb, and starts riding the sidwalk like a rail, because the car is low, the 4 wheels aren't even touching the ground, i might as well have been on ice....
next thing i know i'm lookin at a lamp post fast approaching me... and there was nothing i could do...
the door and the steering wheel are actually touching each other, and the floor of the car is so bent that my seat is acutally folded in half as well...

the other guy fled the scene, and i only have 3rd party insurance, so basically I have to foot the whole bill... and the car's a writeoff, Obviously...
the wreckers offered me 650 for the whole thing! i paid 320 for the parts in the gearbox alone!!

To add insult to injury, while i was gone to get a Tow truck, ppl came a stole my Head unit, My battery, and my Performance intake....
*NOTE*
The ricer stuff was on the car when i bought it.. It was goin to the body shop in the next couple days, so i could get the glue removed and get the nicks and dings fixed....
so now i'm broke and i have no car... It really REALLY sux...
either buy another Crx/civic hatch/coupe and use this one for Donor parts...
or sell it sell it all for peanuts, and try to buy something else??
i can only put 2,600 towards another car...
or perhaps some other options i didn't think of?
I need a car especially to go back and forth to Uni and wknds with...
