LEARN!!

too much cam wont do the job, so right off the bat dont look into huge duration and lift cams. if you get your headwork square, you can use type r cams with
a thinner gasket and flat valves to make more compression, cam, ecu, intake, exhaust and VAFC microtuning can help you get there. there is a cat on this board with a 1994 GSR with 202/143 at the wheels. this is a major accomplishment considering he has all ITR stock parts on the motor, cams, header, muffler, intake manifold and STOCK bottom end all motor. he didnt list his compression ratio, I would guess with a thinner head gasket, flat valves and a small .0020" mill he could be around 11-11.5:1 and running pump 92-93 octane happily. there are no
short cuts with building a motor. do your homework!!! this guy obviously did...

here is what I suggest:

research/do head & valvetrain work,
up compression with head tricks > 1500-2500
CTR honda cams > 500
manifold port and polishing > free horsepower
get a drop in filter, use stock airbox and run fresh air to it > almost free hp
tune cams, timing, vafc and fuel pressure > 800
tune intake, header and exhaust > 1500+
tune ecu, retune vafc and cams > find a good/reasonable dyno guy and learn

people have achieved this mark then you could
research what you can do with the bottom end... 1500-3500
retune...

I would say that 220/155 all motor on a GSR would be very possible.
for about 5K you could make this mark... the trial and error may
kill you in the process!

oh yea, the car needs to stop too.. and corner.. .and grip...

you get the point I am sure.

damn...that pretty well sums alot up
only thing i would change is get a cold air intake, not a drop in filter
and TUNING!
tuning is everything. you might want to look at hondata for an ecu (stages 1 and 2) it will help significantly.
good luck

i should of asked my question differently.

i want to use alot of JDM ITR parts, pistons, intake manifold, CTR cams, ITR header,Spoon flat filter stock AB. PP the head. Mugen 1 pc head gasket which i have already. what are some numbers i'll get with these mods? about. if i am not close to my mark of 200WHP what else would be an way to get there. besides boost my HB is boosted now, i want to go NA for a change. What about B20/Vtec would this be a better route ? i need reliability.
thanks
