Default need piston specs

looking for piston specs (specifically dish volume) for d17a1 pistons. Need the info for a vx motor that I'm building.

I've got an a1 sitting in my garage that was pulled bc bad crank, cheaper to replace than repair, a2 pistons seem to be ideal for the project, just need the info to figure out if I can make things work with these a1 pistons.

BTW-if noone knows, information on how to accurately measure this would be helpful as well

Thanks

I found this:
Yes the crank from the A1 and A2 are the same. Part Number 13310-PLM-A00.

Pistons:

PLM-A00
01-03 DX
D17A1
total height: 46.50mm
compression height: 27.00mm
2.62mm dish

PLR-A00
01-03 EX/HX
D17A2
total height: 46.50mm
compression height: 27.00mm
2.66mm dish

Looks to me like you'd get slightly higher compression from the A1. The GX pistons are domed so that might be another consideration.

Additional thought, Zealautowerks calculator says the D17a2 pistons are 6.2mm dish. With the A1 being only .04mm (.0015") different based on the measurements posted above, you could ASSUME the A1 are very similiar.
