Default Need opinion: Replace valve stem seals while the head is on or off the block?

Alright, so I want to hear some opinions.

I need to replace the valve stem seals on my ls/vtec and debating whether or not to take the head off or leave it on to do them. I've always changed them with the head off and it makes it so much easier.

If I leave the head on, I have to buy the this tool:

http://www.euroexportinc.com/product...ducts_id=44427

But I can save money by not having to replace the coolant or the head gasket since there is only 18,000 miles on both. Also, the I built the engine last summer and its only got 18,000 miles on it and running PERFECT! I don't think I would have to replace the head studs, but I know most people would (I would if I have the money).

Or take the head off and buy a new head gasket and replace the coolant? I have the Valve Spring compressor so I don't have to buy the tool. Either way, it will cost the same. Just whether I want to take the head off or not.

What would you do?
