need more TORQUE on my del w/a stock gsr >
how do i get some for under $500 parts + labor ?

you can always try R cams. always a good start for some extra torq.

you could do a lot of things...but depending on how much time you have to get the work done would end up being the final factor... You could take the head to a machine shop and have them do a basic valve job and bowl blend, or you could get your ecu remapped, or you could even go bolt ons and get headers or intake...however i think the only headers you will will find would be 4-1 and that would really only help with mid- high end.

you need more money than that for torque,how about make it more reliable and save up for torque

So you need more torque? your driving the wrong car then. You should get yourself a GTi or at least an srt-4.

Weight reduction will help, though it won't generate any additional torque.

less weight makes a difference on the butt dyno

you can get a decent header and intake
ummm
kinda hard to pull off with so little cash
almost anything you do with only 500 will only be minimal in gains

i have some torque...... gotta love the h22 turbo...... nitrous would help you out some. you should be able to get a kit for under 500
