Default Need LS-VTEC cam help

So, building an LS-VTEC for the EF. Wondering if anyone knew the maximum lift possible in an LS. right now the set up is as follows-
stock LS bottum end
stock GSR head gasket
RLZ stage 3 cams(howard said he'd never used these on stock pistons) measuring-
in 253@50 .513 lift
ex 252@50 .480 lift
obviously with tit. springs and retainers.

Will these work?

True. 9.XX:1 compression and big cams = waste of time and money. If anything use Type R cams.
