Need info on B16a

My friend got a B16a J-spec with no tranny and i was wondering if was a 1st or 2nd generation and what the difference was?

the b16a1 is the first gen.....it has 160hp...10.2 compression, cable tranny, nonobd, came out of the efs(88-91crx/civic).............the second gen is the b16a2.....170hp, i think obd-1, hydrotranny, 10.4 compression, and came out of the civic SIRII....thats all i could think of

if its a first gen then it will have creamy colored plugs and if its a second gen then it will have gray plugs

is the map sensor on the intake man or remote. does it say PGM-FI on the intake man ? also the fuel rails are different. What color are the plugs if you have any left?
