Here's the setup, 90 DX, D16Y8, DX to Si conversion has been done. Engine runs fine no codes. Upon startup, alternator was bad. replaced unit. Now, the problem, with the alternator plugged in, the engine will not rev past 3200, but the alternator charges, the MIL is on constantly and the red light on the ECU is on constantly Unplug the alternator, it doesnt chage, but the MIL operates correctly and the engine idles ok, and the rev limiter is normal(7200). I'm stumped.
