Default Need help with timing!!

I just put my head + turbo back unto my car. Turned on the car, but the engine doesn't seem like it wants to turn and fire up. Timing belt and cam gears seems to be moving really slow. I believe my timing is off, and or my engine is not at TDC.

Can anyone help???

check the firing order... make sure you got your plug wires right.

well if u want a quick check to see tdc..pull out ur #1 spark plug and take a long screwdriver or whatever and lower it in there so it rests on the piston...now turn ur crank ccw until the screwdriver wont go any higher...thats tdc...also on your crank pulley there is a set of 3 lines...and a little off to the side from those lines there is a single line may or may not be painted white...that should line up to the white line on ur timing belt cover...make sure that ur cam gears are not flipped 180 ....that way u can tell if ur timing is off as well...hope that helps..let me know how that goes

ive got the same problem with my motor b16 and the cams when i removed them i never took the stock gears off and the motor is TDC and the white matrks on the pulley is matched up to the valve cover even with the cams pointed up and the marks all aligned there no way it can be 180 degrees off ...right??
because my **** keeps turning and turning with no hint of firing up.....

im pretty sure that the intake cam wont go into the dizzy 180 wrong way......and if the in. is in right then it should be a cinch to alighn the ex. one...i dunno my motor started after about ten cranks...runs beautiful..

Well the car was sitting for 3mo with nearly an empty tank so i wonder if it bad gas so i put another 2 gallons in because thats the biggest tank i've got and maybe my spark is alittle weak so im going to change the coil and upgrde the plug wires( they need it ) and cross my fingers
