Default need help with suspension setup

ok im thinking about finally modding my ek civic and was thinkin about starting with suspension. i was looking at possibly getting some Koni Red's but im not sure what springs to get, partly because i dont know whats compatible with the Konis, what brand names are good to get and how much of a drop would handle well and look decent on a 4dr civic. any suggestions?

If it was me i would skip the lowering springs. I would go with koni adj. (yellow) and stock springs. That is just me though.

ok im confused, i was under the impression that shocks were used to adjust the stiffness of the ride and the springs were for height. you're telling me that with the koni yellows i can do both with just the shocks?

EDIT: oh and also i went to prostreetonline.com and checked the application chart for the koni yellows and it didnt list my car. http://www.prostreetonline.com...hocks

Yeah the koni's have adj. perches to lower. The valving will also make the car lower alone. They also have an outstanding warranty.

I'd either go with some used koni yellows or some itr suspension.. imho the red's or the kyb's arent as good and I have ridden in cars with all of them..

the kyb's are much more rigid
the koni reds are ok
koni yellows less stiff than the kyb's
itr a little softer than the yellow
