Need help with spring rate?
I've searched for spring rates because I not sure what it mean. When I had my DA I had arospeed coilovers then switched to skunk2 coilovers and HATED them both. So I said F it and got springs. I got neuspeed race springs w/GR2's and the ride was nice. Now I have a 95 civic coupe that came with 205/50/15 tires and tein s tech's w/gr2's. I went on their website and it says that the spring rates is 212F and 180R. But after reading this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=168349 makes me think that these springs rates I have now are shitty? So the higher the number the stiffer the ride? Also GC are coilovers right? I thought the best way to go was springs? I do not like these s tech springs because the front of my car is tucked. If I'm doing anything over 60mph and hit a bump or dip the front tires scrap. Also I can't make a full U-turn because the tires scraps if I turn it to much. This car is only for the street no auto-x or drag time. Sorry if I wrote too much but just wanted to make sure ya know the whole story.
