I just put a d16z6 head on my d15b1 block and it started out great. I stillhave the dual point injecters from the d15b1 and the distributar from the d15 i also still have the 4 speed trany from the d15. when i pulled out the radiator hose came off so i pulled over and my friend said to put water in it so i did. then after that it got real hot so we guessed it was tthe timing so he retarded it. then it started but my o2 censor wentt out so we fixed it. it started to run again but wouldnt go over 3 grand and when it got to 3 grand rpm. it jolted until i shifted then still it continues to over heat i need this car running by monday I despretly need help.

Switch over to the d16z6 dizzy and intake manifold setup. And then be sure to use the ECU from the d16. The problem you're having is that you have a VTEC head designed for OBD-1 and multipoint fuel injection (4 injectors) and are trying to run in with a dual point injection system. Even if you are using the ECU from the d16, that ecu can't properly run the dual point injection. Personally I don't see you having it on the road by Monday unless you do some serious work today.
