need help please...
here is the situation. i have a 1996 civic ex that came with a y8. i had the car boosted and blew something in the motor. i purchased a z6 (the only one i could find and afford at the time) and swapped out the motor. the older z6 does not come with a crank fluctuation sensor, so now, i have a check engine light, is there something that i could do. will it pass smog? if i unplug the check engine light will the smog place find out? what can i do? what is there to do? help please.. thanks h-t
should be fine, the CFS only triggers when it detcts misfires, so if your not missfiring your golden, check that the car is not running limp, you may need to gound out /jumper the CFS to get rid of the MIL.
