Need help with new wheels
Can anyone tell me if my stock lugnuts/valvestems will work with Rota Slipstreams? It's for a 2001 Type R. I'm having the tires put on the wheels today, and I'd hate to find out that my lugnuts and valvestems won't work. I plan on upgrading the lugnuts ASAP but did not get a chance to yet and have an appointment in 3 hours to have the wheels swapped out. Hope someone can help me out...Thanks guys.

After many times bolting up wheels on Hondas and other cars, including aftermarket and oem wheels................................
I would NOT suggest using the oem Honda lug nuts with aftermarket wheels.
~OEM Honda uses round seat lug nuts
~aftermarket used tapered seat lut nuts
Plus, I would NOT suggest usinf tapered lug nuts with oem Honda wheels.
Using oem Honda lug nuts on your Rotas would probably hold a torque but the are simply not correct....why chance it. IConsidering you spent a decent load of cash on the wheels and tires, why would you not do it the right way?And about the valvestems......take a closer look at them. Rubber stems cannot be reused, metal stems can be reused with new gromets. OEM Honda stems are going to be rubber.....don't worry I doubt $1.00 per valve will hurt your wallet much.
