sorry if posted in wrong place i'm new

i have a 97 Honda civic jdm h23 swap was running good until i busted the oil pan i swapped it out with a h22a4 oil pan and my oil light started coming on, i kept driving it because it's my only car now i noticed a misfire so i went to change my spark plugs and they had oil on the top and bottoms of them. i'm buying a new vale cover gasket and new spark plug seals which i hope fixes the oil in the spark plugs but why is my oil light coming on and what else could it be if this doesn't fix the spark plug problem





i have a new oil pump which was put in with the swap roughly 4,000 since the swap

You probably fucked up the oil pickup.

 

Or the h22 pan is shallower try using a matching pan/ pickup tube

 

h22 pan is a lil deeper oil feed looked good but im take is all back off recheck it

 

You always have to use the compatible oil pickup with whichever oil pan you ever use.

 

The oil pans are different, use the right pan.
