Need help, its being a slug.
If anyone can give some ideas Last week I ran my car 95' civic w/B16a I,H,E bullfrog ecu, and thats about it. Anyway I ran a 16.2@86mph. I've seen and read about cars with the same step up run alot faster. Anyone have any ideas what I could try. I was going to do a valve adjustment job to see if that would help. If anyone has any advice please help. If nothing else the car is getting a B20 early next year.
do you have any un-needed weight in the car?
Is everything added to the car correctly adjusted?
What kind of tires/ wheels are you racing with?
When you put the motor in the car was it properly tested for performance, Compression, leaks etc...

This should be in the drag racing forum....
You need to post your timeslip results so that an analysis can be done. Without more info, who knows... coulda been anything. Don't always be so quick to blame the engine, though. A single thing like a valve adjustment isn't going to make you a second faster in the 1/4.
