yea. make sure you put the plug wires back on where they belong. also, did you take the distributor OFF to put the cap and rotor on? make sure you put it back exactly like it was. if you didnt you might have affected the timing.
Yea I checked wires and there in right spot and I didn't remove the distributor just took cap and rotor off and replaced both and I've noticed once car gets warmed up to running temperature it clears up and runs like a champ you think possible o2 sensor throwing off car and there are no engine codes coming on either
did you replace the big *** like o-ring thing? make sure there is a good seal. i had a car mess up cuz the o-ring thing was dried up and cracking so moisture was getting in there. once i replaced it, i cleaned up the contacts a little, and it was perfect.

You can check two things. Is the CEL light on? And My B16 used to do the same thing once in a while. The TPS sensor went bad causing it to bog up until about 2500-3k. After that it cleared up and i went nuts for about a week trying to figure it out.
If the cel is on check to see if you have a code 4. My buddy's CRX is doing the same thing because of the crank position sensor in the distributor.

lol. those arent rivets. just some ****ed up *** screws. I HAAAATE messing with TPS's cuz of those things. There is no good/easy way of getting those off that I know if.
Hack saw blade, slowly saw the screws so that it will fit a screwdriver. Once those ugly ones are out replace them with normal screws. Simple and easy
