Default need help with fuel pump wiring for civic!

took out my fuel pump and tested it, works fine. I put it back into my car, connected the wires, turn on the ignition, nothing. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. i thoght it might be ground wire, so i connected a ground wire directly from the battery. it's not that. Is there a fuse for the fuel pump or something like that? where does the other wire (yellow with green stripes) connect to? what do you guys think? need help asap.

Sounds like its a bad power connection. Trace the wire if your motivated enough, or you could just find where it connects up front and test that. Diagnosing electrical problems like that just suck ***.
