need help with fuel pump relay
ok guys im new to this site. I go on team integra a lot because someone I no goes on it and I signed up. but I come on here a lot to read up.
so let me explain the problem. over the winter I need a wire tuck to my car. im good with cars and got an idea with electronics. so doing it wasn't hard. the route I went was I pulled the harness on the driver side in the cabin then pulled the samething on the pass side in the cabin. I ran the wires to the lights so I had to extend them all.(the lights come on fine) then I had to extend the harness on the driver side to the middle of the car. I soldered all the wires and extended them and made that harness and the 2 harnesses on the pass side all into one harness and made it big connector.
I got 2 problems.
1. my pass window don't work? but worked fine before the winter? I didn't touch that harness so idk why that happened but right now I want the car running.
2. my fuel pump wouldn't prime. so I went down a long check list and long story short the dash came back out. so now everything is everywhere. so I checked all my wires from my friends car to make sure im getting the same things as he is. again long story short what I found out is when I ground out the green/blue wire(witch runs to the ecu)the pump comes on. so now im stuck. im not sure if its the ecu that bad or something else?
just a thought and If not a good idea I wanna no why just so I got the knowledge. when I ground out the green/blue wire couldn't I just leave it grounded?? im not sure what that wire dose.
also if someone could give me a layout of my ecu(p28 with hondata s300 my cars turboed) I can go to where the green/blue wire goes into the ecu and check the resitance and see if something bad to get fixed. this problem has been goin on for about a week and I been doing a lot of research and im getting anything. I seen a post on this site I just got done reading and I seen someone say don't worry we will figure it out. made me want to make a post. sorry this is so long just thought the more I let you no the more we can eliminate. thanks
