Default Need help with diag.

Hey guys.
Here is some info, and am hoping u guys can help in figuring what is going on.

91 accord
Running 94 prelude vtec swap with turbo.
Was tuned with hondata, and car was running fine....
Recently car started running a bit rough one night.
Sounded like backfiring at idle.

Put new plugs, and spark plug wires, since plugs were fouled and one of the wires broke when removing....
Started car up, and was well for a minute or two and rough idle began again....
Realized boost gauge had stopped reading boost/vac after a few minutes of having the car on, which is when rough idle began....

Boost gauge gets reading from gm 3 bar map sensor, so went ahead and replaced it. Now car won't even start and stay on.... Seems to be running extremely rich. If I start it and rev up a bit, will stay on but it's being flooded. Motor is shaking smoke coming out of the exhaust and smell of raw fuel.
If I stop rev, and let car go to idle it will just shut off from how rich it's running....

What step can I take next???
Any suggestions what the problem may be.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, and can answer any questions you guys might have.

Check all your vacuum lines, if there is a vacuum leak boost leak you can run rich, especially if the ecu goes into limp mode (until then it'd be lean at idle, rich in boost) i could be wrong since it's map referenced, but it seems like quite a coincidence the car started running rough just as the boost gauge stopped working.

Check over everything associated with vacuum and that map sensor. If the map sensor does not see vacuum it will add tons of fuel thinking the engine has a load.

Awesome, thanks for the input guys.
Vacuums all seem to be fine....
One thing that didn't convince me was the harness to that gm map sensor. It's just spliced on to oem map sensor harness, and covered in black tape....
May need to solder or reconnect that.
I'll check that tomorrow in the daylight and I'll keep you guys posted.
Thanks!
